1. Introduction

Welcome to Christmas Light Installation King (“Company,” “we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, and products. By engaging with our services, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using our services.

2. Services Provided

We specialize in the leasing, installation, maintenance, and takedown of large LED Christmas ornament balls and other holiday decorations. Our services are provided to homeowners, businesses, and municipalities under the terms outlined in our agreements with each client.

3. Booking & Payment

• A deposit of 25% is required to secure a booking.
• Deposits become non-refundable after seven (7) days from the date of payment.
• The remaining balance (75%) must be paid in full at least fourteen (14) days before the installation date. Failure to make full payment on time may result in cancellation without refund.
• Payments can be made via: Venmo, Zelle, Check. Returned check fee is $25 or maximum permitted under Connecticut Law.

4. Rental & Installation Terms

• All decorations are provided on a rental basis, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
• Customers are responsible for ensuring the installation site is accessible and securing any required permits.
• We will take reasonable care during installation and removal, but we are not liable for pre-existing property damage or unforeseen conditions affecting installation.

5. Liability & Damage

• Customers are responsible for any damage to decorations caused by vandalism, negligence, improper use, or unauthorized modifications.
• We are not liable for damages resulting from extreme weather, power outages, acts of God, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
• Our liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the service.

6. Maintenance & Repairs

• We will provide maintenance for malfunctions caused by normal use within 48 hours at no additional charge.
• Repairs for damage due to vandalism, third-party interference, or failure to follow provided guidelines may result in additional charges.
• Customers must notify us of any issues as soon as possible for timely assistance.

7. Force Majeure

We shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

• Severe weather conditions
• Natural disasters (e.g., hurricanes, earthquakes, floods)
• Government regulations or restrictions
• Acts of terrorism or vandalism
• Labor strikes or supply chain disruptions
  In such cases, we will work with the customer to reschedule installation or removal, but refunds will not be issued.

8. Intellectual Property

• All images, designs, and marketing materials related to our products and services are the intellectual property of Christmas Light Installation King and may not be copied or used without permission.

9. Cancellations & Refunds

• Deposits are non-refundable after seven (7) days from the date of payment.
• Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled installation date will result in forfeiture of all payments.

10. Safety & Compliance

• Customers must follow all safety guidelines provided upon installation.
• We are not responsible for injuries or accidents resulting from improper use of decorations.

11. Dispute Resolution & Mediation

• Any disputes related to these Terms or our services shall first be resolved through mediation.
• If mediation does not resolve the dispute, it may proceed to binding arbitration or legal action in accordance with the laws of Connecticut.
• Each party will bear their own costs for mediation, unless otherwise agreed upon.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

• Customer information is collected only for service purposes and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
